Guitar used on 'Paranoid'?
Here's a question for any of you who had the privilege of seeing Randy play with Ozzy: can you remember which guitar Randy would use to play 'Paranoid' with? When I listen to the live recordings I always find myself wondering which one he was playing.
OK. Cheers!
It is a shame that many who wanted to see him couldn't. I would have been just old enough to go, but they never made it to Australia. I think back then it used to cost a fortune for international acts to come here, plus it wasn't really a big enough market to justify the expense. Anyway, them's the breaks (sigh)....

If you want to know what guitars he used on all the songs, here is a useful link.

He used the Les Paul for all the Sabbath songs.Gus wrote:Here's a question for any of you who had the privilege of seeing Randy play with Ozzy: can you remember which guitar Randy would use to play 'Paranoid' with? My photo, to the left, is during "Paranoid."
To NoQuattro - Ah, that list spells it all out. Excellent!
To RhoadsRockPhotographer - Very cool photo!!!
It'd be great if the documentary allows us to see Randy doing some of those songs that aren't on New York '81 or Chicago '82. I'd love to see him do 'Paranoid', and a full version of 'Suicide Solution' with spotlight solo would be awesome. Of course, Randy playing anything will be worth the wait.
