Well we have been threatened that they are going to have the Randy Rhoads Society Facebook page shut down...because we had bad things to say about BLEVINS...THEY HAVE RESORTED TO THREATENING US with closure. Yes in so many words they have told us we better watch our step. Emails today to me.
My message at Facebook just posted...Blevins has been taunting members of our page today and was promptly deleted!

[Ed Vice] I just deleted my account at RR.US and they have threatened to have us shut down. They think they can bully us!!!! They want to censor us when we have said nothing to them wrong. You may wake up tomorrow or the next day and this page will be shut down. Check your messages. I just sent this message out to all our members!

The Rhoads family is being advised by people and have been told that we have been taunting members of there staff. Our agreement with the Rhoads family is simple! We are to remove anyone regardless of status or popularity that spreads hate or drama in Randys name on this site or other websites.

The reason this site was created was to give Randy fans a drama free enviroment where members do not have the oppurtunity to attack other members. The goal is to make sure members are treated with respect and given a fair shake. The Rhoads family feels that it is not a good idea to let certin people determine who can be a Randy Rhoads fan.

After research on the net the family was made aware of places you can go where this activity exist. The family and the owners of this site felt that it was very important to the fans and "Randy Rhoads" that a plan be developed to help control the poison that has been injected into the Randy Rhoads community of "FANS".

Guitar World will release a new artical with Kelly Garni and Kelle Rhoads in december and one of the subjects will be www.randyrhoads.us .

We expect the capacity of this site to grow during this release and certin steps needed to be taken.

Today some Members have been set to ban status and site admins from other sites on the net have been warned if they condone such activaty they will not be welcome on this site. They have also been given the opportunity to create an alliance with this site to show respect for Randy and honor the Rhoads family wishes to help get rid of the poison that has infected some of the communities on the net.

I just posted a message to the Randy Rhoads community at the Facebook page from two people about as close to Randy as could be possible and they wish to be anonymous because they are in the middle of all this crap. Come have a look at my signature link on bottom.

the bashing of staff i am accused of is total bs i have been on the road since right after i signed up as any of you who follow me on facebook would know. blevins is behind it ,in on it, still is part of it and thats what its about. i wish no ill on anyone all i wanted to do was be a part of that site to see some of the cool stuff they had lined up my posts were one of hello and looks good and a couple of shouts out to members from FB and .tk that were there and yea even a couple from here...this is a cool board i like it too.
sorry to all the randy fans but i really didnt do anything wrong but when i was banned i went public at facebook and .tk with a why?? then the gates of hell opend.

What I feel is that some people are using the "Rhoads family" for their own agenda here......
Why we never hear from the "Rhoads family" themselves?
Why they never put an 'open letter' on the boards if it's all that important?
I wonder if they really care?

We run a board here for several years already and we don't use the "Rhoads family" to intimidate other people, there is no need for that. If people are talking crap about UR it has nothing to do with the "Rhoads family" or Randy anyways. Why bother them?

Nobody was "banned"- that is being taken out of context, my understanding was, it was a "general warning" to NOT make trouble in the future or now, or you would get banned. Someone had e-mailed a staff member threatening PM's, saying ugly things & that was what the site wasn't going to tolerate. The site felt that if some people had personal issues with a staff-member they should take it up, privately & through another form of communication, NOT through the RR site. That was all that was. Kelly woke up to see this, he was as suprised as everyone else! Because, he too, has a life, & work outside these sites. He in NO way, sent those letters or warnings. All he ever said, was NO-ONE should use his site to abuse another member, period. And he stands firm regarding that, being a "victim" of abuse himself, he just refuses to tolerate that from anybody else. Someone said, they hadn't heard the Rhoads family speak about anything, well, gee whiz, I believe if you listen carefully to Kelle Rhoads opening "welcome" to the RR site, you WILL see & hear him speak in regards to the site & why it's here! Case closed! Both Kelly's detest people using the sites to "air dirty laundry or hold grudges against each other" it's pretty clear! Just don't do that & there's no trouble! You simply cannot go onto the site, & use the PM's to send vicious, angry or ugly messages to staff members or members that you don't like & then go back & pretend you never posted anything bad, well, guess what? Sending PM's with an agenda are just as bad & you are guilty. That's the reality of what happened. Nobody has been banned UNLESS they are guilty of being abusive to another member or staff member. Kelly hasn't had any personal problems himself, but as I said, he won't tolerate anyone being aggressive or abusive to the members, it isn't a fair way to fight between yourselves. The RR site is for positive & fun activities, Kelly & the staff get ALOT of personal satisfaction dealing with the "Little Kid's Rock" charity & we are seeing results from some VERY happy kids! That is why it is SO important to keep the site positive & uplifting. This nonsense of "in-fighting & someone said this or someone said that", & personal digs are childish & Kelly won't tolerate it on the site, because the parents of these kids who are part of "Little Kid's Rock" & the kid's themselves, arn't a part of this "bad blood" between members & such. So just stop it! You all say, you want to be a part of positive memories & loving thoughts about Randy & whatever , SHOW IT, quit talking about things that arn't happening, unless you are guilty of being one of the fore-mentioned offenders, you have nothing to worry about!! There's no need for taking sides, or who's better, or who's been here the longest, or who has the most members, ect....there's no need to slam Kelly every single time something happens...geezus, let the poor guy get things straightened out first before you damn him. Stop, think, & listen, before you speak & things will be peaceful!!

I read this here and at tk and I'm wondering if it's possible that a misunderstanding has taken place?

To me, this says that you administrate a site on FaceBook which has allowed negative attacks on RR.US and it's staff. Most likely this has to do with all the drama related to Steve Blevins in recent weeks. It also says - in my understanding - that because FaceBook gives you an opportunity to reach such a large audience, the RR.US staff feels you should moderate your site in a way that doesn't promote the angry attacks in a public manner and if you choose to allow such public venting, then your membership at RR.US will be revoked.

Now, I've been around these boards long enough to know the history of Steve and Romeo and the passionate feelings many members have about these guys. If any of you remember .tk in the days after Dime was murdered, you'll know I've felt the brunt of this community's anger as well.

Sometimes venting is necessary, but hateful, violent ranting is not. I think that is what they are trying to get across at RR.US - we need to moderate these sites in a way that allows dissenting opinions without turning into back alley brawls.

I think most of us can agree that the gang mentality in places like Los Angeles, where the hate has festered for generations based on who lives in what neighborhood, or the racial hate worldwide based on whose ancestors may have owned slaves and whose didn't is counterproductive to peace.

Ed, can you re-read the emails to you from the point of view that you are being asked to help minimize the hateful language as a site administrator? Maybe the emails could have been worded differently so as to be more clear, but that is how misunderstandings occur.

I have been in contact with the site administrators at RR.US and have been assured that they have no intention of shutting down .tk. UR or your FaceBook page. They simply want the drama and hate from the past to stop, today, and to move forward without rehashing the old bullshit.

So to all of you here and at the other sites, if Romeo posts something you have an issue with, PM him. If Steve posts something you have an issue with, PM him. If Chi-Town posts something you have an issue with, PM him. If they are truly trying to stir up trouble, they will stop when the only reactions they get are in private.

As always, you all have the God-given right to take my comments as you see fit, agree or disagree as you will. I'm simply trying to help.
