Post by Alang »

In many of his pictures he wear these white low heel leather shoes as did many other rockers. I had a pair back in the day just like them. I have no idea what they were called. Are they still made, if so can someone provide a link where to order !!

He sure did have some nice shoes, i could do with a new pair, but all the shops near me sell rubbish... :(

realisitcaly speaking would you still be able to buy a pair of shoes that were presumably designed/made in the 70s? seems like a long shot :?

I think Richie was right that were some sort of Capezio or giorgio-brutini. They use to be avail in black white or grey but today I only see Black and they are slightly different.
Ozzie use to wear white ones.
Not exactly what I was looking for but close. Heres a few links I found.

Was there a certain significance to these shoes? What other rockers wore them? These almost look like Latin dance shoes. Hell, I might already have a pair...

RR-ElectricAngel I think the guys in the Scorpians whore these as well.
I had a pair back in the 80s 90s and loved them. Very comfortable and after they ware in they are amost as comfortable as a slipper but cool lookin.
Over the years I forgot about these things until visiting this site. Doing a search on capezio or latin dance ( following your lead ) does look like them so I appreciate your help, thanks.
Being a new member Im not here just about Randys shoes. Ive been a Randy fan from day one and an avid gguitar player. This site is by far one of the best Ive come across for Randy fans, its great.

Thanks guys!
