Sorry to tell you lyon but that poster is not an original. These have been copied for years. It's still a nice item to have in your collection.

Lyon i have been collectiong Ozzy & music memorabilia for a long time and you see these all the time. They are very common, if this was an original it would of sold for alot of $$$$$$$$$. But you cannot complain you got this for a few dollars. It'll be a nice item to frame and hang on the wall.

ok, ive been into anything randy since tribute and i always see the same posters, hence the march 20th, the motorhead one and the madison square garden that randy didnt play, but never the indy one, and usually when the posters are copied theyre are either very flimsy or cardboard, so if you can show me one just like this that would be great.

and maybe because it didnt go for alot of money, because it wasnt listed under ozzy, i looked through the entire ozzy on ebay, i just happened to be searching the net about diary of a madman and it had a ebay link to it, but it didnt come up on the ebay search for ozzy, ozzy posters, or diary of a madman. how many things go unnoticed because of error or mislistings!

Lyon i've been collecting for a long time and i know what is genuine and what is new. You'll notice over time that the poster you have just getting from ebay will show itself time and time again. Trust me, if i thought it was an original poster from the 80's i'd be the first to tell you.

if its so very common, as you say, show me one just like it, but make it the original, haha! dont take any of these texts as anger, but if i put up a mickey mantle rookie card on the internet, just by looking at it from a picture stand point, you would be able to tell me if it was original or not? i kinda find it hard to believe unles you hold it and can actually smell the oldness of the paper, sorry if that sounds retarded, but it smells like old paperwork or books if you will, just my 2 cents. and its not cardboard or really flimsy paper either.

The guy sold the item and said in his description that the poster is rolled and in mint condition. If this had been from the 80's it would of ended up on someones wall. It would have the pin holes or tac marks, edge damage etc. I have a promo diary poster and its in a poor state even though i've looked after the poster. If the poster has been rolled and hidding away all this time i think the guy would of mentioned that it was an original promo poster from the 80's. I bet you over time you'll see another one the same. Fans who visit this site will own the very same poster and tell you that its not an original. If i thought it was genuine i'd have one in my collection.
