What Really Happened with www.RandyRhoads.us

Look we all know Kelly has a heart as wide as an ocean, that's just fact, and we all have disagreed at times with his choices. We are not lemmings here. No one is sucking up or star struck as far as I've seen on this forum. I guess I was unaware of any stars posting on this forum, all I have seen is many Sparticae. All of us have made mistakes, learned from them and moved on. Kelly will move on and upwards, no doubt about it. Hopefully KG you will take this old idiom to heart.......... "Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me." You are a good man.
No disrespect intended Caisin 1 or 2 , whomever the bloody hell you are, go take a shower pleaseeeeeeeee, and rethink your views.

Hey Calsin, why not be a man and use your real name? Only cowards attack from behind a mask.
RRFish and Bebebear, this site attracts this guy every time something controversial pops up. He is going to call us all stupid for awhile and then attack my beliefs because I commented on his comments... then he'll get banned or bored and go away.
As for making light of this situation, no one thinks it's funny that Steve did something that hurt Kelly. However, some of us have been around to see similar behavior from and towards a number of individuals over the years. As has been said, some of us were not surprised that this happened because of past behavior patterns. I'm not saying anything bad about Steve here, because personally I've always gotten along well with him. I understand that he has his reasons for choosing to discontinue his involvement and he does not "owe" us any reason or apology. I also know - from personal - experience that it is easy to misunderstand through emails and postings what Steve may have meant by any statements or requests he made of Kelly. What happens between them should stay between them.
Kelly is a good man and many of us supported him through troubles in the past and we will support him now.
Steve, in my opinion, is very good at internet site startups. He should start a business setting up sites for people as a contractor. If I were in need of a site I wouldn't hesitate to ask Steve for help setting it up.

Steve is good at what he does, but it's his attitude and personality that ruin the great things he creates.
Let's be honest times are tough and people are looking to make money. But to hold a website hostage for money or vintage gear is just a slap in the face to Kelly, Doug and Randy's fans. Most of us are average joe's living from paycheck to paycheck. I really hope you pump your brakes and re-think things and take a look at how your treating people.

Told You So...
On Sept. 16th I wrote about my feelings on Kelly Garni's new site which charged Randy's fans for the privilege of speaking to one another via chat rooms etc...

The thing is, saying "I told you so" doesn't make me feel better. I just want those that believed enough to make a contribution see justice done. Randy's reputation depends upon it.I have always been told I should do more networking. When it comes to all the dedicated "Randy" sites I simply found this one the easiest to get around and understand. I do get nervous when things get incorporated. Money always somehow creeps in and becomes the driving force behind everything and thus keeps the very thing I enjoyed doing for free out of reach or worse unaccessable. With Randy it seems everyone was sharing without some sort of kickback. Capitalism always brings out the worse in people. Just look at what Wall Street did to the financial system. Is the memory of Randy going to be incorporated right before my eyes? Do I have to pay a VIP price just to speak to other groups? Say it isn't so...

To be a teacher you must never stop learning yourself...

Huh? How can anyone's behavior in shutting down a website effect on the reputation of Randy Rhoads? The rep of his fans, maybe...RR-ElectricAngel wrote:Randy's reputation depends upon it.
Now in response to all these threads, how can everyone make all these negative comments about Steve based solely on his actions here and at tk and say, "Randy would have done this," or "Mrs. Rhoads would say that..." ?
How many of you know what Randy would do? You don't. How many of you know what his mom would do? You don't. You all assume things and attack, attack, attack.
You are offend and/or disappointed in this incident. Why not leave your comments at, "I think it sucks that this happened,"? Why reduce yourselves to the name-calling behavior you all claim to be against?
It happened, it's over, let it go.
Now everyone go look at the thread on the Danny Gill guitar lessons and comment on something constructive!

For one Paul I have know Mrs Rhoads since 1978. She is a fierce buisness woman and she has ingerity and character. So yea she would be highly upset if she knew someone stole from people under the guise of her sons name. Randy had integrity also. He was straight up guy. He would be upset about it.
I guess if you think people are overeacting that speaks tons about your character.

See here we go again, yet another person who doesn't know me questioning my character.Paiste2002 wrote:I guess if you think people are overeacting that speaks tons about your character.
You may know Mrs. Rhoads, but you cannot speak for her. You may have known Randy - although that's been called into question many times, I've always given you the benefit of the doubt on that - you cannot speak for him. You can only speak for yourself unless the person you claim to speak for has given you a statement to read.
Sure Mrs. Rhoads would be upset about what happened to Kelly, but the way some people invoke her name to try to make their point more valid is ridiculous.
I've never had an issue with you Paiste, so if you disagree with me, fine, but please be mature enough to not call my character into question.
Craig has shown much sincerity in his past posts. As well with things he has posted back to me re: situations, Drew etc., I believe his heart is in the right place and knows what he speaks. I don't remember anyone ever questioning if he knew Randy or the Rhoads family ? I believe he did, and does. I'm beginning to believe that anyone who knew Randy, the Family etc., should take a long vacation from these forums, that includes Mr. KG. It doesn't matter what anyone says or post regarding there feelings about Dee, or how she would feel about all this, because it will always be a source of debate, and to some, fuel for a fire for their own benefit or ego. That's human nature for ya !!!!!!!!!!!!! Take care Craig !

I was under the impression that Craig took lessons from Drew and would see Randy around Musonia. No offense to Craig at all, but I'd say he was more of Drew's friend than Randy's friend. Again, no disrespect meant at all. Anyway, people are obviously going to say whatever they want, regardless of whether or not they knew Randy. Let's not split hairs on what the Rhoads family wants or what they don't want. They desires will eventually dictate what actually happens anyway.
Now paiste is getting dragged into the mud...I say all these people that actually knew randy like kg or paiste should just run once the mud slinging staarts...they dont need to defend themselves or anything just run fast. These mud fests never resolve themselves in a positive way so why get involved?...internet mud is something that will never happen face to face-this is what is bad about the net.Im not against mud but for the main principals its not suggested nor of any benefit to them.
