at 41 seconds in..What video is that from? I know they took the sound of him speaking from recording dee(tribute) but was that a quiot riot video or could that possibly be something from his days with Ozzy recording?

I could have sworn i saw pics of him in that studio before and i think it was during quiot riot and not Ozzy but I just want to be sure! If its Ozzy then that would be

That part made me wonder too , it's like the voice is overdubbed ?? and the quality of the voice dose'nt match the low quality of the film

i cant find the trailer anywhere but if i remember correctly i think its in the studio with quiet riot...i think hes sitting down and takes off his headphones?i think he says 'what'?i apologize if i got the wrong clip..

It Is from a QR recording session. The first album I think, but I could be wrong. His voice is over dubbed.

Maybe its a that there is pro shot video of Randy recording Dee! I can picture it now, Randy alone in the studio, lights out with just him in the center with some nice purple lights like the stage solo pic of him

You are not wrong Kelly... The song being played in the studio just prior to that shot of Randy is Fit to be Tied.

In the original video Randy takes of the phones and says, "Huh?" or "Eh?" as though someone were talking to him when the phones were on and he took them off to hear the person speaking.

Kelly is right, Quiet Riot recording and I think farther into trailer you see something similar with his girlfriend at the time, Jan. That's the Randy I will always remember. I loved the way he looked then. Can you guys not see the difference in how he looks at that point and then further on into QR and then Ozzy ? To me he looks so different. I always thought he was saying Hi, but what Paul says is probably right Eh?

KG, I hope you are doing well. I had a thought, you should try reading Natalie Goldberg's "Wild Mind", and right your ass off while you are in Afgani! This book is so inspirational, and you more than anyone would be able to capture what life during that time with Randy was really like. I hope you do! Cheers

Thanks for the tip RR. I'm an avid reader as I fly so much these days. Interesting fact about that video for those of you who have the whole thing. I have a black eye in it. You can see it when I have to sing with Kevin. It's a biggie too! I took a good shot from Kevin (who was a UFC grade fighter) just before we did the song. That guy jumped over the whole mixing board and made me dog meat in a second. God, I miss him so much. I just loved that guy in my later years. He was VERY closely as unique as Randy.

Ritchie I believe KG and Kev were both born on October 29th, same day. Sometime people who are a lot in many ways don't get along, and therefore power struggle will ensue. My guess is they had similar personality characteristics, which probably bug the shit out of both of them. Add to that young male hormones raging, and ......... Sibling rivialry at it's finest, the guys were like brothers, spent so much time together. Could be wrong, but that's my guess.

Yes indeed time does heal Fish! Even with Kevin and Rudy...Even though Kevin had not gotten to this point Rudy tries to take the high road on speaking of Kevin even before his passing. I bet that if Kevin had lived a long life even their relationship would at some point have reconciled, not 100% but at least let's bury the hatchet kind of thing. Who knows maybe I'm wrong with that but years after the doc has been out and they're in their old age...who knows...I can only hope for that to have a possibility.

Eddie, what is odd, and cool at the same time, about what you have said re: Kev and Rudy, and not that I totally believe in Astrology, but, Kev, KG, and Rudy are all Scorpio's! Wonder when Drew's birthday is? Wouldn't that be weird and crazy, if all Randy's band mates in QR were Scorpio's?
