So this NJ show can be: August 15th - Convention Center, Asbury Park, NJ ?
Which show can be the "St Louis" one: September 2nd - Prairie Capital Convention Center, Springfield, IL ?
That's the closest show to St. Louis they did. (if I'm correct?)
And like you said it makes sense if they wanted to film a show to do it later on in the tour.

Sorry i messed up. For some reason i was thinking MI was Missouri. I should know its not since I am from Michigan originally!
If they did not play St Louis directly then he probably remembers St Louis being the biggest city near where ever they played that night.
Again though, when a band shoots professional video its always near the end of the tour. This is good news since his shows (and our dates) make sense since there at the end of US leg.
I personaly believe its the NJ show.. Just because the in house cameras . As I said before my friend from New York was there and saw many shows there and said at the moniters at the bar area the concert was being shown Plus all the other footage that came out of there. But I cant beleive this until I see it. I been hunting footage for years ,and was the Middle man for the Chicago and paladium footage. But Peter M had more resources than I ever did..

That other footage that came out of there as well, can you give some examples and how is the quality of that?

We all know Chicago and paladium are not complete....
I heard they only filmed the first 2,5 songs of the paladium to save batteries.(?) Is there any chance more will come to surface from those two shows?

The palladium Motorheads complete show was filmed He ran out of battieres during Ozzy.. The Chicago show From what I understand more was filmed.. The glitches were put the buy the filmer. I lost contact with the guy who I got it from years ago.
The more we get into all this the more i think stuff like when Randy was talking backstage with motorhead(only a few seconds/no audio) and the Texas soundcheck footage probably exist with full shows of each. I really think Texas soundcheck thing has to exist, I know some have claimed to have talked to a tv reporter or whatever it was saying they are the ones that recorded it but blah...That video is perfect quality and there must be more of it and the show itself.

May 22nd - Checkerdome, St. Louis, MO ~ Blizzard of Ozz Tour
Jan 27th - Kiel Auditorium, St. Louis, MO ~ Diary of a Madman Tour
I must had a black out or something!
That St. Louis show from may 22nd would be great if it was filmed. Just 11 days after Cleveland, the band was in great shape then. They did pro audio recording on may 11th, so why not filming a bit around that time as well?
(btw always wondered if they maybe filmed on may 11th too...)
Good find!
Yes...that would be awesome. At the time, I was 6 and 7 years old when they played in St. Louis...about 15 miles from where I slept every night! hahaha
I grew up and still live the the St. Louis county area. I would die if there was a pro-shot vid from St. Louis!!!
I dont post here much and dont want to start anything with the kid's on this site but, Three people said they had video of randy. hi8 in Az the two bro's this proshot stuff and another guy all said they had this but all three we found to be BS and never produced a thing. As for the budget on the film, there was none. It cost what it cost and that is what what the budget was going to be. Peter has done all this on his own time while trying to earn a living. Most of his time being spent on Deal or no Deal. I have been on the set with him there and i know it takes a lot of his time. Dakoda has spent alot of money making this film and needs to make it back. That's what there in biz. for. Peter has said he found some video of Randy but there is no proshot video. The film will be done by the contract time line " god willing Ms Rhoads will be with us to see it " and i think we are lucky Peter was active on the boards to share it with you all. No other film crew would have done this. I know some people just cant get along with some people and that's cool but know that you have stoped anything from coming out till the release of the film. You know who you are. I thank you for that for everyone. I dont care I've seen almost everything there is and i know it's going to be great. Just dont get your hope's up for this preshot video.
I think the film and Peter have been greeted with an open and varied response by this board; ie it has not been partisan.
Although belonging to Paul's thread in off topic (partially), I am just very bored and tired of talk of the film. No big threats of if I plan to boycott it etc, just very tired and worn out, in an online way with it.
This is not real life LOL.
Matt
ps don't give a toss of any footage either. Happy with what I have
Having a break from online activity for a while to concentrate on music. Please email if you need to get in touch. Matt
I'm holding out hope. If there is no new footage in the documentary or no pro shot, then oh well. Either way the last couple of years have been great to be a Randy Rhoads fan with these messageboards, texas soundcheck and now the doc.
I would love it to be true about the Blizzard footage, but part of me doesnt want to commit to believing it.
So has anyone here actually viewed this pro shot Blizzard show? Or are many people simply taking the word of a few guys on Peter's staff? Is that where all of this started? Does anyone here know any of the people who have the footage (Blizzard pro shot & Diary tour from the bros)??? Apparently some people "in the know" are saying different things. 25 years of dead ends in the search for footage and now we have a few possibilities. I hope that some footage finds a way to the surface.
Again, it just seems odd that any Blizzard or Diary footage wouldnt be coming out as an Ozzy product. I guess we will have to wait and see.
