I'd like to know if Bob has ever found himself having to alter his playing based on any guitarist or drummer. If his approach has ever had to be modified to fit that certain style. Who was it and how did he overcome that.

Bob thanks for taking the time out to do this interview. It's well appreciated mate.

Bob when you decided to re do the Ozzy tunes for the Living Loud project. Was that the first time that you and Lee had played those songs Live after the 1980 UK tour ?. What was it like for the arrangements ? playing them in a different style. Was this thought out before the band got it together or was it just a jammed progression with you Lee, Don, Steve, and Jimmy.

Bob you have mentioned how you met Ozzy in the Music Machine in London and discussed the Ozzy project. Did you have to do an audition or did Ozzy just give you the gig ?. Could you let us know a bit more about that time i.e at which point did you meet Randy for the first time etc.

1- I would like to know if there is anything Bob would like to share from his experience with those early Ozzy records after so many legal issues and others stealing the ball with credit, what advise would you give anyone to help avoid fiascoes like that.

(Now that it is clear who wrote most of those records (you can compare them to Quiet Riot record yourselves for proof)

2- I would also like to know how Bob approaches musical phrases and melodies as he did for those Ozzy Record.

For example Paul McCartney and other artists use the contemporary pop song format A, B etc, basic minor harmony like Bach, but Bob seems to of taken the Major, Minor Pentatonic into a Diatonic dimension and sorted out a pretty unique method all together, correct me if i am wrong of course, all of Randy's solos where backed by progressions apart from the songs themselves.

3- I would love to know if Bob is in the new U.S. version of the Japanese Randy/fan documentary or not., i watched the trailer and have to agree with Dubrow a bit on that, hearing the opinions of fans other then one new close person interviewed (Don Airy) was nothing new aside some footage that Ozzy and Sharon previously denied.

4- Will Bob also write a book like Rudy and Don has?

Is that Don Airey's book or Don Arden ?. Have you read that book ?. As far as i know Bob is writing his biography now.

Don Airy does have a book coming out, and he has tons of great photos, i know, i had seen some developed by a girlfriend of his back then while Randy was alive.

I was hoping you could shine some light on a question I been wanting to ask for quite sometime.
When Randy Recorded his tracks did he double everything from rhythm and solos, or was it just his solos?

Good evening Mr Daisley, and thank you for your time with us. I have two questions about song writing on Diary of a Madman.

1. On this album, three songs - "Over the Mountain", "Flying High Again" and "Little Dolls" - feature a similar pattern in their structure. Their choruses are actually twofold (say C1/C2) like "I heard them tell me..." and "No need of astrology..." in OTM. The songs go with C1 for the first chorus, C1+C2 for the second, and C2 for the next. This was simply a wonderful idea that was unseen on Blizzard.

2. About the bridge part of "Diary of a Madman" (the song), when Ozzy starts singing. The lyrics and vocal melody are built on a 2x2 bar pattern, with lines going along by pairs ( "a sickened mind and spirit" / "the mirror tells me lies", etc). But Randy's part is built on a 3x2 bar pattern as the double-stops show up every three rounds (except for the first run). This is absolutely baffling.

My question is wether you know/remember who came up with these ideas ? Where did they came from ? How do such ideas surface (I mean, besides obvious talent) ?

Bob, as someone who grew up with Randy, I am wondering if after his passing, did you ever feel his presence ? My most important question would be, what was the happiest, and most memorable time you can remember, when spending time with Randy? Thank you so much, and I know he loved you and Lee, and appreciated all of your talent.

Bob never grew up with Randy, Kevin Dubrow did if anyone., the rest came and went.
