Bernie performed tracks from the new album yesterday evening.
It is a really ball breaking album. It features lots of new ideas. There is one track that uses a tabla as the percussion. One track salutes Hendrix but adds an atonal melody, and there are the trade mark squeals!
I didn't copy the Q and A this time but there was some fantastic points made by Bernie and the audience about the declining record industry and also identity (or lack of it) in many modern players.
Bernie is recording his segment of the interview for the documentary in the next couple of weeks.
Bernie's blue Strat given by Ozzy too had, had surgery. A domestic with his wife had meant he had 'dropped' it.
The beat up 35 year old Marshall (it wasn't a plexi but the one after) was used again and sounded awesome.
Also Bernie mentioned his use of Vintage Guitars too saying that unless you were spending £1000's a Vintage was better value than a standard Strat.
