King V? That's Randy's original Jackson... the King V didn't come into being until after Randy died and was pretty much a weird ripoff of Randy's idea created for Ratt's Robbin Crosby.

I actually remember reading somewhere (probably here) that it's actually NOT Randy's black jackson, but one he never played. Anyone?

guess you misread it.
there was a black one in the works though when he passed,
but the guitar that Dolores is holding is indeed his actual one.

This was covered when the issue came out. That is not Randy's black jackson. The guitar she is holding is the jackson that Grover gave her. It is the first production model of the RR model, and actualy the first production Jackson guitar with the serial number 00001. There are subtle differences between the two, most notibaly the black plastic pickup rings, where as Randy had gold/brass ones. There are more differences, but I don't want to geek out here. Long story short, Randy never played the guitar Delores is holding. Hope that helps.
