NEW! Randy's FULL Mr. Crowley Solo (Without Fade)
Moderators: Randy Perry, The Flying Dutchman, Stiltzkin, skezza, Trigger
This could be from RR's guitar track, which would not contain any drums leaving the computer guys to fill in the drum spaces.
Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.
All right, I found our answer. All 86 tracks in the game are from THE MASTER RECORDINGS!!!! So it is Randy's true outro without the fade!

Paul,
I'm surprised that you still find this hard to believe! I'm a regular suit in the business world and it makes simple sense. Think about it.
The Osbournes control their albums and recordings. They're the ones who can go re-record the who bass and drum parts to their classic albums and re-release them if they want to. I doubt Delores had much of a say in that! They want partial control (and a cut of the $$) of Peter's movie which he won't allow. As a result, they won't let him access THEIR music.
However, Guitar Hero is the biggest game around and with game pricing somewhere between $50 - $79 plus the potential to pay for/download additional songs/content, this is a HUGE revenue stream for the Osbournes and Rhoads alike!
And Matt, you don't hear Bob and Lee because these are the 2002 remastered versions....ya think after all of that, they're gonna let Lee and Bob's tracks be used again???

Because, Ozzy IS the center piece. The whole character was built around him, and he even went to the studio of the game maker, strapped on those little electrodes that track his movements and danced around the whole time. Watch the video below of him! The Osbourne's were involved enough to physically be a part of this. What I find difficult to believe is that someone as savvy as Sharon Osbourne would keep music in the vaults for over 25 years and then give it up for something that doesn't have Ozzy as the center piece. Now if it were Guitar Hero: Ozzy Osbourne, it'd make more sense.

You also have to remember, these may be 25 year old albums that are being used, but Crazy Train and Mr. Crowley are his most popular/well known/legendary songs!

DAMN YOU!!! (I love you)
Matt
Having a break from online activity for a while to concentrate on music. Please email if you need to get in touch. Matt
why don't you talk to Sharon Osbourne. She doesn't give anything Ozzy is on for cheap. I bet it was a pretty penny the Guitar Hero developers and Activision to aquire the master tracks of Mr. Crowley but I bet they every right to do the ending not fade because they paid for tthe use of the master tracksPaul Wolfe wrote:So Peter Margolis cannot get the music for his documentary but Guitar Hero can? I doubt that. Just because wikipedia says it doesn't make it true.In a perfect world, we would be able to have COMPLETE, original versions of Mr. Crowley, You Can't Kill Rock And Roll, and Tonight. Have Max Norman sitting at the console, drop everything but the guitar where the fadeout should be, and just listen to Randy go!
UNFORTUNATELY, THE WORLD IS NOT PERFECT.
I am not at liberty to speak about a number of subjects, most importantly the music.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Those drum tracks that were used in the 2002 releases were very close to Lee's drum track. I was dissapointed about this as the druming used live was so different to how he had been playing it.ammalato wrote:

I have only listened to this once and I skipped through it then, it does explain why I felt the the extended section sounded like an imitation of Lee's playing (because the 2002 recordings are).
