I always think for the money the Epiphone in Antique white is quite close.
By the way I am colour blind though LOL...(I kid not)

woh! tht could be it! there a couple things id change but thts pretty dang close. thnx. u know one in gibson?

theres a gibson copy of his. its not exact but its close, i have the pic, but thts it, cant find out what it is.

well, as his Les Paul was no signature guitar, you could have
practically the same if you bought an white LP custom and put
in Gibson T-top humbuckers :)

I've always wondered exactly what Gibson's "T-Tops" were and how they differred from the PAFs? I have a '74 Standard which (I guess) has T-Tops?
