I bought a new guitar yesterday..:
A Gibson Les Paul Studio!
Jackson Dinky - Gibson Les Paul - Alhambra
It is the Alpine white version, I bought it with a Gibson USA case with white interior
The guitar sounds amazing, cannot describe it!
Should I get straplocks ASAP on my baby?

I have heard other guitars fall off, but never Les Pauls.. So I was wondering.. I want to keep this guitar for the rest of my life.
And I'm paying the half of the price, my parents the other half.

i think it depends on how high or low you have your guitar on its strap. I have mine high and i've never dropped a guitar

Hi Ralph
Thomas has very kindly agreed to let Simon have it.
That guitar is turning into a real slut who is just flirting with everyone..now it wants Simon's attention.
I know Aria winked at you too but Siroangel used his Valmont charm and lured Aria in
LMAO

I am not the lucky bastard who has got it! It's Stewie (Matt shoots a green eyed glare)
What name are you going to give it. I call my classicals after their maker "Suzie have you seen Tony..yeah he is up there with Rick"
I call Robot Guitar 'R2' and my Brian Setzer guitar imaginatively 'Brian'
Thomas. How about Snowy:D (It is nicer than Justin Hawkins, he calls his the Alpine slut LMAO)

I dont really give guitars names unless, unless i look at them and know instantly what they should be called.
For instance when i met my Black Yamaha acoustic i knew instantly if it was a person it would be called "Mikey". Big and boystrus with a passion for the blues but the voice of an angel. It also reminded me of someone from a tv show.
Im thinking of calling the latest edition "pagey" but im not sure yet ive got to get to know it a bit better.
Just give your guitar the name
you know is right.

Let's see, I call my Schecter Strat, "The Schecter Strat" and my Charvel Strat is called, "The Charvel Strat" and my Harmony acoustic is called, "My Harmony Acoustic"... I tend to to be
really creative with names!
So in August when the baby is born, I'll let my wife do the naming so we don't end up with a birth certificate that just says, "the baby"
