Digital ain't all that bad. But I think the amp MUST be made from tube power... the rest could be made out of cheese, paperclips and cellophane wrap, and the tubes will make it sound devastating.

Nah, Digital isn't that bad, you're right. They're good if you leave them below 4 on the volume.

You're obviously not aware of Randall's superior tube products and the fact their heat syncing systems on their digital amps generally kill the amp. Plus I've heard a lot of internal flaws which allow the wrong currents to flow, thus killing your speakers too. Furthermore, Dime had to use a shitload of gear to get it sounding as good as he did, and while his tone is good to some, I do not care for it much. However, I would use an ss amp with a tube amp because a tube amp "breathes" and a digital amp has "immediancy". I believe this is how Vinnie got his tone; a marshall and a randall.

So I thought taking a picture with my camera phone meant I'd be able to email it to myself somehow. Not!
I'll have a pic on Wednesday.
I wanted to save what make and model is was till then, so it could be a surprise.

Didn't Randy use a solid State amp in Quiet Riot? I could swear I read that somewhere.
