Here are a few pictures from the parade Mike was in.

the king float:

here is the most known high school marching band here, McDonough 35, who are known as "the marching 100"

Here comes Mike's float! He is the second person in the front(not on tippy-top), as the first guy is his best friend, Buddy. It's not all that great of a picture, but I was excited to see him.

Actually it has.
Endymion, one of the biggest parades, returned to its original route since the storm.
I didn't go see it this year, but it is always spectacular to see.
This was Mike's first year riding in a parade, and he really had fun. Even with the face mask on, I could tell that he was having a blast. He can't wait until next year, Feb 22, 2009, when he will ride again!

I am glad Mike had fun, I remember reading that Willie Nelson headed the first parade after the storm and he had a great time.
