One Last Stand - Simon Fielder (A poem, I have just written)

Post by siro_angel »

One Last Stand

I hear you walking slowly near,
As if you wandered into my dream,
I feel your heart beat so clear,
I can hear the love theme.

I remember the smile you tried to hide,
When you said you felt better,
When you let it out, when you cried,
After you'd read that final letter.

I left a rose, lying by the bed,
Red petals laid down the floor,
The candles placed ahead,
Behind myself I shut the door.

Your gentle playing against sin,
As your eyes watch mine,
My lips dance on your skin,
Our fingers strum a slow line.

Your hair tantalised my chest,
My hands held tight onto the bed,
A gentle surrender at your request,
Smeared lipstick, cherry red.

A sudden rush to my mind,
You pulled back and fro,
Moans voiced but not unkind,
She never knew my woe.

A lone tear gently fell,
As she laid beside myself,
Did she suspect my private hell,
Did she knew my health.

The clock struck midnight,
But winter winds cold, gentle blow,
The candles' fading light,
My heart starts to slow.

Morning kisses from her lips,
My final breath faded last night,
I felt cold through her fingertips,
She cried as she held me tight.

I laid still, dead even,
I won't forget our last moment,
She had someone to believe in,
My last hour, well spent.

Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.
