Randy and cigarettes

Just out of curiosity, what was Randys brand of cigarette? When I was a boy (Class of 82') everyone smoked either Marlboros or Newports.

yeah they are. and he smoked like a fiend. i'd come back from lessons feeling a bit ill from chain smoking.

I smoked 40 plus a day for about 9 years and gave up in 2000. But jeez I loved Marlboros and also old holbon tobacco.

I have always said if they invent a cigarette that is safe with the same kick I would smoke again

It seems to me that when musicians were hooked on cigarettes, in those smoke filled room olden times, they wrote more hooks. Now-a-days everything sounds so antiseptic.
