Just thought I'd let everyone know that according to the documentary forum, Pete Mertons has now been interviewed for the film... at long last, the guitar tech has spoken!

He has kept silent for long enough and is one of the few who has real answers. I think he was tech for Rudy Sarzo in the late 80's as well.

That it huge to say the least. Think of all of the guitar magazines that would kill to get a sit down with Pete.

I really hope this thing gets completed.

Anyone catch Dime's tech Grady in the new Guitar World? A really cool guy who totally had Dime's back for 10+ years. It was a great interview and the guy is incredibly smart. Sounds like those guys really loved one another. I imagine Pete and Randy were pretty similar. Pete's silence for all these years tells me he must have been devastated by the loss.

yeah, a lot of people will be desperate to hear about randys gear, but pete offers a lot more than that. Randy could have picked anyone to be his tech but he stuck with pete, they must have been good friends and good friendships usualy mean good stories.
