My Superbowl prediction is Green Bay vs. New England, and Green Bay will
upset the Patriots. Brett Favre will retire and live happily ever after!

Ahhh... January 26, 1997, that was a good day. The Green Bay Packers defeated the New England Patriots 35–21. Farve won his first Super Bowl and Mike Holmgren set his place in NFL coaching history.

The question is: who deserves another Super Bowl victory Farve and the Packers or Holmgren, now with my beloved Seahawks?

Farve has enough records, so I'm gonna say Holmgren and the 'hawks are more deserving and will prove so on Saturday.

I'd be willing to put up all kinds of pretend money to back my prediction, too. :D

Most touchdown passes in a season, Tom Brady - check.

Most touchdown receptions in a season, Randy Moss - check.

Most points scored in a season, New England Patriots - check.

Perfect regular season, New England Patriots - check.

I think it would be nice if the Patriots won the Super Bowl again this year, however, it's not necessary.

So Seahawks/Patriots, 52-0 Seahawks win doesn't sound likely? :D

The pounding that New England gave people "after" they supposedly cheated... just proved their dominance.

As much as I dislike the Cowboys (why, I don't know), I think they'll make it to the Super Bowl, 'cause they're good.

"Dominance" may be a bit strong... they needed a good dose of luck in a couple of those games...

And the Denver game in particular when Belichick pulled the backup and put Brady back in because he wasn't confident in his team after one bad play spoke volumes to me.

New England is still probably the best team in the NFL and light years ahead of "Old England" football :D But on any given day, any given team can get their ass handed to them by the Seahawks

I'd take luck over talent any day... it obviously worked for the Pats this year. Hey, I'm all for anyone wining the superbowl - except the Cowboys. That's probably because all my friends are fans... I'm just around to stir things up.

I'll be the first to say that Seattle had neither luck nor talent today and deserved their loss.

Next year could be interesting... I'm thinking we'll have a different team.

Josh Brown (kicker) was less than great this year, so he could be gone, Shaun Alexander had a bad year and Holmgren has said he may retire from coaching...

Who knows, next year could be better, could be worse.
