i wasnt gonna have a new years resolution but i've always been goal orientated when it comes to music so what the heck :)

i figure im gonna start to focus on just a couple of styles rather than do everything... im not gonna cut myself off to certain genres but its getting a bit difficult trying to learn latin, blues, jazz, rock, classical and metal all at the same time.

so next year its gonna be:

1)Blues with a little bit of jazz

2)Classical

i feel weird about leaving rock/metal behind but i figure getting better at blues and classical will improve my rock/metal playing anyway

I wish more people felt that :D I sometimes wonder, when I do a recital, and I have put flyers up, and advertised for a couple of months in advance, and 50 people show up if I am doing things right.

Matt

i dunno if i've ever told you but your stuff kicks ass

its always good for me to see someone better than me because it inspires me to work harder. 8)

I've left rock (not fully) for blues, classical and folk :)
