Update: I delivered all 5,000 glow sticks to Chuck this past Sunday night in preparation for his departure for Romania yesterday. He was pretty busy and pressed for time but he was most grateful for everyone's generosity. He was blown away really. These glow sticks will be put to great use.

I've committed to collecting Hot Wheels cars for his next trip so this could get interesting. I have picked them up here and there over the years so I have about 50 to get the ball rolling and I know of a guy in town selling his collection of 1,000 for around $200. Could get interesting.

I'll be gearing up that campaign after the first of the year. :D

Merry Christmas everyone. You have really helped mine be extra special this year.

Thank you Frank. I've just had an offer to donate from a long time member and friend here. It never ends. :D

I'm going to hold off until after the first of the year to get my game plan together - organization and accounting-wise - to really take this to another level. The way I see it there are a ton of folks like me out there. We could take $20 and get a new CD and maybe a fast food meal or we could take that same amount and do something really unique and helpful and in turn maybe feel a little better about doing something to help others.

And it's not about guilt or feeling bad because you have plenty or anything. You give cause you felt led. Not everyone is led to give at the same time or in the same ways for that matter.

What I'm hoping from Chuck is to get a few pictures of the kids getting these glow sticks so it really drives home to folks that this little bit makes a difference and here it is.

Until then folks be thinking "Hot Wheels, Hot Wheels, Hot...".
