Peanut Butter

Post by Sarab »

Ok y'all. We are having a "discussion" in my home tonight.
When I open up a jar of peanut butter, I put it in the fridge. The resident idiot and his 2 villagers say that it stays in the pantry/cupboard. They will not eat it if it was in the fridge. It's too hard and rips the bread. HELLO???? Use a toaster, and the peanut butter spreads very nice.
And this was not regular peanut butter, either. It was chocolate peanut butter.
I'm I the weird one here?

Well actually, I must expand upon my previous post. It depends how I'm eating the PB.
If it's just by itself, which is how I normally eat it, it's from the fridge.
But if I put it on bread or something, it's gotta be in the pantry. So it kinda is constantly going from place to place at my apartment.

If it's natural peanut butter or some other nut butter like almond or cashew like you'd get at Trader Joe's, where the oil sits at the top until stirred then yeah, refrigerate it.

Chocolate Peanut butter? is that Nutella or actual chocolate peanut butter you are talking about? Nutella stays in the cupboard as well :P I'd suggest you keep your milk in the fridge though. Oh yeah, apple butter is much better on toast than peanut butter.
The company is called The All Natural Peanut Butter and Company, and the flavor is called Dark Chocolate Dreams. I forgot what grocery store I got it from. I need to find more!
And yes, the milk is in the fridge.
