your sig says cats-eye pedals are available at vintage guitars in the UK, i checked their website but found no trace
presumably they are out of stock... do you now of any other UK dealers either currently or in the future? id rather not have the hassle of shipping from the US.

I'd have to say the guitar IS the center of my life.RockyRhoads wrote:I'd say the guitar is an enjoyable part of my life but by no means the center of it.deansolo wrote:Would you say The Guitar is your Life?

I guess you can say I'm a guitar geek!

tough question, officialy at least im pursueing the hope of a future as a film-maker, (film is my second love). To be honest id rather play music but i dont see it as a realistic possibility, if i did id be studying music at uni not film, call me disolusioned but i feel that in the industry today talent means nothing and no matter how hard you work/practice getting a record deal (or finding any kind of work for that matter ) is just pot luckdeansolo wrote:Would you say The Guitar is your Life?rice_pudding wrote:+1Tommy wrote: Hopefully, I'll be playing for many years to come

but music is still my priority and ill be playing hours everday till the day i die regardless of my other commitments (trust me ill fit in in somehow). i suppose i hold the hope that i might get a chance to play music for a living one day...
so is guitar my life? No, but music 100% is.
oh and for the record im coming out the closet (no not that one

Define "guitar geek" for me, would you please?
I am not a guy who gets into all the new effects and equipment. I am actually planning to donate all of my guitars but one to an organization that will give them to kids who'd like to learn but cannot afford to buy a guitar. I just need to find such an organization (I live in a community where Microsoft has made millionaires of so many people, it's hard to find the 'needy' ones).
On the other hand, I read everything I can find on playing techniques and styles. I have loads of material for teaching and learning the instrument (the latest being the Guitar Grid system) and I study this stuff constantly. In addition, I write out scales in music notation, as intervals and using letter names. I'm constantly thinking guitar, if not constantly playing guitar.
Does this make me a "guitar geeki"?
