Here are three of my guitars... okay, two of them, dstout of RR.TK owns the V now... and the CHarvel Strat has been sanded down to a bare wood finish (and I STILL cannot get the controls soldered back to working order)...
I'll try to get a shot of the Strat's current look, my Strat copy and the new Les Paul...

I really like what i've seen of your new Les Paul. The fact that it's red is so simple yet it looks thousands of times better than any overpainted superstrats or anything. One of the nicest looking guitars i've seen in a while.

Okay, here are the axes as of 5 minutes ago... the Charvel is no longer black, the V is gone to Dan and the OLP was given as a gift to my neice... and that Harmony acoustic I've had for about 22 years now...

I think that Charvel looks cooler without the paint. It's tempting me to do that to my Jackson...if I did it badly though...I dunno, I'll think about it.

Ell wrote: I think that Charvel looks cooler without the paint. Thanks, I prefer it that way as well. If you decide to refinish any guitar, make sure you can get the thing re-soldered! I have soldered successfully millions of times, but I can't get this thing to work again. It sucks, because that Charvel has the best feeling neck of any guitar I've ever played, and now I can't play it through an amp!

They all play like a dream. The necks on them are all incredible. The Charvel has a slightly thicker neck, but nothing really noticable when switching back and forth.

Hi SDB I also meant to say that the room that the picture was taken in looks very stylish, Is that at your home in Rochester? T
