This place will die due to the negative attitudes of the membership, just like tk did.GUITARIDOL5682 wrote:What legacy is left to make available to any fans. why do 'you' think that Ozzy has a vault full of unseen footage and other rare shit ?. If he had anything he would of used it ages ago. Remember him viewing the unseen Paladium footage...he was in awe he's never seen a Live gig with Randy on stage.. Or was he just bigging it up for the camera ?. The Rhoads have nothing to offer apart from making Randy's personal items available for viewing. Unless you want to own a bottle of expensive wine what do they have to offer us. They don't have anything of any rarity as far as the music goes. Shit they even took the authors of a great book to court. Why!! they are doing something good for the RR community i think the family want to realise that his legacy will be forgotting if it wasn't for people like me and you plugging his name on this site. Remember its cool to visit this site but if you don't post stuff up. the site will go just like TK.. dull and not happening. Or has that already happened ???.
NO ONE here knows what the Osbournes have. They use what they want to use, they don't need Randy to keep the ship afloat anymore.
As for the Rhoads family, the same thing goes. People love to say what they do and do not have, but none of you actually know what they have. As always the 'fans' don't deserve anything because they spend too much time demanding and talking crap.
If I were Kathy D'Argenzio, I wouldn't spend even one moment considering giving anything more to the membership of this site. There could be all kinds of demo/rehearsal stuff in Randy's bedroom, not to mention his lesson tapes and writings. Why should any of that be shared when people talk s#*t about her wine? She's a wine maker and she presented a tribute to her brother in a manner she was capable of. If she'd been a painter, would there be bitching about her selling a painting she made of him? You'll pay hundreds for a scrap of paper Randy signed or a ticket stub, but won't pay $60 for a tribute made by the guy's sister.
This news story made me think of this place that I've spent so much time at over the years, unfortunately, the negative here outweighs the positive for me and it's just not much fun anymore.
