Re: The footage the interviews! Sad it was canned
Sad it was cancelled, but it was getting pretty absurd with the amount of interviews Peter was doing if I remember right. He was interviewing all sorts of musicians who had little to nothing to do with Randy's story and flying all over the world to do it. I remember one interview being the guitarist for Rascal Flats who was apparently a huge Randy Rhoads fan and could apparently play all of his songs note for note. Impressive and cool, sure, but that's got nothing to do with Randy's story, which is what we wanted.
Peter should have kept the interviews short and with only people directly involved with Randy's life. Looking back, I kind of got the impression he was having a bit too much fun being "the guy" in charge of Randy's big documentary and just kept trying to make it bigger and bigger than it needed to be.

To true, there seemed to be massive scope creep and the documentary was turning into who can I meet instead of telling the Randy Rhoads story. Not only that there was some negative vibes coming out about the interactions he was having with some people.
Jesus imagine how good a documentary about Randy could be, what a fucking waste.
