I sent Tim some Schaller strap locks and he installed them. I have to adjust the pick-ups to get a more aggressive sound and the tuning pegs are a bit tight still. Other that that, I am very pleased with the guitar.

glad you guys like your guitars, i am a proud original owner of the next to last jackal PDV produced by mike ripley it is #3 of 4 total and is still after 4 years one fine guitar i have 22 frets ebony board (my choice) floyd (black) (again my choice) dimazio paf/distortion combo, all dots are correct and in right place all boties are right size the jack is under upper wing toggel switch in correct spot, i noticed you shoulders on the Vwhere body meets neck are quite large, irmember the guitar ed roman was trying to pass off years ago was like that too but his prices were soo stupid for a complete forgery, anyway i just would like to congratulate you all and welcome you to the PDV club and would you all like a picture of my jackal to see it, if so just post if not, its cool, welcome to the club!!!
thanks i love it, i dont use it every week i only pull it out once every couple of months to facilitate the wow factor, plus i have 15 guitars that i rotate onstage regularly
I rotate from 6 guitars on stage. I know what you mean. I will pull mine out every so often. But its not a usual. my PDV is one of tims. But it really is a nice guitar.
I also just bought a Concorde (knockoff). I have NO IDEA who made it or where. It does have Jackson on the headstock but it isn't a Jackson. But it's a really nice guitar also and I got it real cheap used. Just needs some TLC. I have a friend that does magic with guitars. He is setting it up for me and I also am putting a dimbucker in it. They sound amazing. Nothing wrong with doings little things to make the guitar your own. it is not exact to the Concorde but its close. I'm happy with it. Below are some pics
