When thoughts evolve to objects !
I've bitched at various forums about it.
I've bitched about pickups and finishes and what not.
But finally, this little baby has evolved from nothing more than a thought
The Body:
Hard ware & Electronics:
lic.Floyd Rose from GFS, and a push/push knob
Seymour Duncan TB-5 (bridge) :
DiMarzio PAF Pro (neck) :
Locking nut:
lic.Floyd on a neck routed for an original one. looks fugly but it works
Operation springcavity:
had to work it with a chisel to get more space for the springs. will have a coverplate shortly
So, feel honored, this is the first time I've posted pictures of the final product.
No one has seen it yet, except some friends who visited a few days ago.
I'm still struggling with adjusting the stringheight and the neck,
but it's close now. Very close

Well that's so awesome infact I think I might copy you by making a guitar . If I do ever fullfill the dream then i'll post stuff.
What was the whole area of wiring it up like? Would it have been much harder to put an on/off switch on? Just saying this because I'd want to use the bridge for distorted, turn down the volume of the neck pickup for cleaner sounds and then just have an on/off switch to have fun with.

No, I mean just a master on/off switch . That would be pretty cool though. I would like a little button or 2 way switch kind of thing that I could press or move to cut up the sound. Just like Randy's Crazy Train intro solo but while being able to use the neck pickup. If I had one for each pickup I would probably get confused .Stiltzkin wrote:i guess that could be done
Brian May has on/off switches for every pickup on his guitar
