9th February 1982. Kalamazoo, MI
Kalamazoo Gazette photos by Jerry Campbell
With rumors of a possible goat massacre, the Kalamazoo Gazette sent photographer Jerry Campbell to check it out. Campbell shot about 20 photos, and one of them was published in the Gazette after the concert.
No animals were harmed that night, despite fears of what Osbourne might do because of recent incidents. Before the show, his management vowed there would be no massacre.

Ahh yes, these popped up on the internet not long after Ozzy died.
Always thought the show was a castle set.
I do enjoy the remastered version of this show.

The fact we're still seeing fresh material is incredible really. This was an era where photography wasn't as cheap as it is today.

Interesting, they were still blacking out the amplifiers on their B stage.

They destroyed Randy's cabs when they put that black gaffa tape over the white tolex edges.. I seen a recent photo of them in the RR book and the tape is still on them now. It looks shit.shawn wrote: Thu Aug 06, 2026 3:13 am Interesting, they were still blacking out the amplifiers on their B stage.

I can not recall seeing the tape on the edges of the white cabinets before. I'm guessing they just put the heads behind the cabinets so no need to tape up the white head?

I'm sure out of the 3 stacks he had 2 vintage black Marshall heads and one or 2 white heads. The Marshall logos also got blacked out with tape. If the heads got stacked on top of the cabs I can imagine they would of had tape on them aswell. But it was taking off after the tour.
