One of my favorite "popular"/"radio" bands. Excellent live! I've seen 'em twice. Everyone is a top notch musician and Mike Einziger is one of my favorite guitarists playing today. And the bassist...DAMN.

Don't let the turn tables get in the way.

What do you think?

Huh!? I've known about Incubus for years but never actualy heard them, i was always under the impression that they were a
realy heavy band, i was surprised by the "funkness"
Reminds me of a less insane version of Primus
It nice to hear the bass doing something too, Bass is an underused and underated instrument i think

Incubus WAS what I'd call "funk hard rock" back when they did Science and Fungus Amongus. Not so much now. Science is probably their heaviest album and my favorite most of the time. Out of their new albums, you can go on and skip Morning View and Make Yourself (really too poppy...) but Light Grenades is solid and so is A Crow Left of the Murder.
It's funny that you mention Primus, Rob, cause I remember Brandon (the singer) mentioning that Primus was a big influence on him and the others when they first started out. You can hear the Primus influence quite a bit in Fungus Amongus.
