Hanoi Rocks

Post by Paul Wolfe »

So, I was looking at the Heavydance thread and saw the vid for Up Around the Bend which was the first song I ever heard by Hanoi Rocks.

A lot of people know of the demise of Razzle due to a car accident with Motley's Vince Neil, but I don't know many people in the States who knew the band...

They were great.

The good old eighties! 8)

Never been into this band much, though I really dig the early Motley Crue!

They moved from NY for one thing, all accept Sammy Yaffa who was just in Spain, i did not see this post but i happen to know the whole band for years, especially while Andy McCoy was with Iggy Pop., he is a really good guitar player, very under rated, Slash has half the talent this guy has in my opinion and of course his, not to say slash is no good but Guns and Roses totally copied this band, Axel told me himself its no secret.

All i can tell you is that they are very good musicians, Mike got really good towards his solo records with Little Steven and Earl Slick who is with Bowie as always.
