Metallica and Megadeth

I know that there is kind of a little bad blood b/w these bands for obvious reasons but im wondering if you guys think its ok to love both bands even though theres lots of fans of Metallica that hate megadeth and vice versa. I love both but I dont know if owning a metallica and megadeth t shirt is fair game. any opinions on the matter?

I think Metallica fans who hate Megadeth fans or vice versa must be 12 years old.
You can like whatever band you want as far as I'm concerned and anyone who tells you differently, like I said earlier, is 12 and needs to grow up.

I like both bands but especially in their early days.
This crap has been around forever, hence
Eddie vs Randy
Rolling Stones vs Beatles
Metallica vs Megadeth
etc, etc.
Real music lovers don't buy that crap and are only going for what really matters and that is good music!

To be honest, those fans who hate each other because of rivalry are probably only doing it to copy James Hetfield and Dave Mustaine who obviously do have a passionate dislike for each other.

I dont know that Dave and James have such a big rivalry going cuz like Megadeth and Metallica did do one concert together. they were once really good friends and drinkin buddies you know. I feel that the biggest grudge b/w the bands is b/w Mustaine and Kirk Hammett because Kirk took Dave's place in Metallica as lead guitarist and lots of the metallica fans said, you know, "dave sucks at guitar compared to Kirk" and all that bs. it would have really sucked for Dave to have to go through that crap from people like calling him a bad guitarist and crap just because he wasnt in Metallica anymore. maybe thats just me.
