Led Zeppelin are set to announce their reunion gig this week. A press conference has been called for 4pm BST on Wed. 9-12 in London. "NME.com understands that the show will be held at London's 02 arena possibly on Nov.26, and is a charity gig being organized by legendary promoter Harvey Goldsmith. " I read this today on Yahoo!!

Actually the proceeds from the show will go to charity, but if the show goes well a tour is expected to follow. Not to mention a greatest hits record in November.

It just goes to show that today's music sucks so bad we need "reunions" to keep things interesting. Led Zeppelin broke up in 1980 and 27 years later they are still better than anything that's come down the pike in this century.

Bleh. Hopefully it's better than that Live Earth atrocity in 1985.

Never liked LZ too much but I'd take them over 90% of the current bands.

this is great news but a lot of people will be dissapointed...

i've heard there will be 11,000 tickets available (at £125 each  ). We all know that ticket touts will snap them up in 5 mins flat, so a lot of Led Zep's genuine fans are gonna be dissapointed.
