I've been collecting Rock memorabilia for a lot of years now. I've just done a trade for one of Randy Castillo's drumsticks from his 1991 tour. He's another Randy who sadly isn't with us but if he's at the great gig in the sky i'm sure the two Randy's will be making sweet music..

I am always amazed how few drum sticks end up for sale considering how many get thrown into the audience at shows, I remember hearing a story about a woman who was given a Ringo Star stick. She got it at a Beatles show and a few years back she decided to have it valued to sell.
She couldn't find it so asked her dad if he knew where it was, He had used it to mix paint then threw it away a few weeks before .
Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.
Well with you being a drummer you'll like this story. As you know me bro is a drummer aswell, so back in the days when he wasn't working he would go through my collection of drumsticks.Pick out the one's that he liked and he'd use them without me knowing. So i was looking through my collection and noticed that a pair of Cozy Powell sticks had gone missing and an Alan White (Yes) stick Denny Carmassi (Gamma) Phil Taylor (Motorhead). The list went on but you can imagine my rage to find the splintered remains of my collection in his sticks bag.I'd show him the battered and well used sticks that looked like a beaver had snacked on and he'd deny how they ended up in that condition. But to use a Ringo Starr drumstick for stirring paint and a Beatles stick if that is like using £100 notes to light the barbecue.
speaking of Randy Castillio, ya know that thing he does where he plays drums then he throws a stick in the symbol, it slides around the symbol and catches it and still plays on beat?? ( I think its shown on the Mr Tinkertrain video or Breaking All The Rules I cant remember lol)
I can do that lmao and i aint a drummer im a guitarist.. lol Pissed off my ex drummer though cos he couldnt do it, but hey that bastard ran off with my fiancee, nevermind lol I've got a new gf now and she makes me even more happier!

I just came across this and thought my drum kit may be of interest. It is signed by Randy Catstillo. Both kick drums are signed inside. I bought them like this and did not have them signed myself. I never really believed it was really his signature but after seeing the signatures on this forum, I think it could be. What do you all think?
Hi Loganmax and welcome to UR, that's are very nice looking kit you have there. From the look of the signature, that is either someones kit signed by Randy or possibley his kit. Are both the signatures the same "To Al, Rock these suckers" ?. How did you get the kit ?,was it from a drum shop of bought privately ?.He could of played this kit during a drum session in store or it could be the kit he played on and toured with during 1988 ?.Have you done any research into the date 29th April 1988 ? Randy was endorsed by Tama drums. So it could be worth checking out to see if he was actively touring then, or it may be the date of a drum session ?

Both kicks are signed inside with different messages to "AL". See other signature below. I bought them from a guy who bought them from a guy that claimes that this was Randy's kit. When I bought it I really had no faith in the story and to be honest, don't really recall the story as to how AL got them or the order of transfer. I really did not believe this ti be a real signature and had no way of proving it. It was not like I was buying the drums becasue of it, I liked the kit and I got a hell of a deal on it. But now that I see his signature on this forum, it looks like his signature.
