I have since found a previous owner of the kit and he says they were signed at a clinic.loganmax wrote:Both kicks are signed inside with different messages to "AL". See other signature below. I bought them from a guy who bought them from a guy that claimes that this was Randy's kit. When I bought it I really had no faith in the story and to be honest, don't really recall the story as to how AL got them or the order of transfer. I really did not believe this ti be a real signature and had no way of proving it. It was not like I was buying the drums becasue of it, I liked the kit and I got a hell of a deal on it. But now that I see his signature on this forum, it looks like his signature.GUITARIDOL5682 wrote:Hi Loganmax and welcome to UR, that's are very nice looking kit you have there. From the look of the signature, that is either someones kit signed by Randy or possibley his kit. Are both the signatures the same "To Al, Rock these suckers" ?. How did you get the kit ?,was it from a drum shop of bought privately ?.He could of played this kit during a drum session in store or it could be the kit he played on and toured with during 1988 ?.Have you done any research into the date 29th April 1988 ? Randy was endorsed by Tama drums. So it could be worth checking out to see if he was actively touring then, or it may be the date of a drum session ?

During april 1988 Randy C was getting ready for he Summer UK club tour which was the debut for Zakk entering the Ozzy band. This kit must have been signed at a clinic or at a store for a buyer/fan. It dosen't look like the kits he was playing aat the time or any time after to me.
