I know Randy was great, but my other favorite guitarist in the '80's was Rik Emmett with Triumph. He could play and sing.

I have to agree, i loved these back in the 80's and Rik Emmett was and still is an amazing axeman.I remember seeing the US '83 Festival California and what a show that was..I managed to see these Live for the Progressions of Power tour 1980 and the 'Allied forces' tour.Despite being 'bad pressed' in the music mags in the UK they had a good following.Alot of people thought these guys were trying to 'jump' on the Rush canadian band wagon.I couldn't see the comparison myself,but it would be good to see these guys after all this time..Cheers for that link Paul.. :wink:
