Hi fellow members of UR!
I'd like to present to you all a recent creation I had written called StarWhale!
http://www.sendspace.com/file/ot19ou
It is in the key of E minor and I'll look forward to hearing any feedback you have about it!

Not Bad Simon, Relaxing a little bit of mystic Floyd and RUSH in there I detect!!!

The background deeper parts remind me of the way Some of the Rush early work was for example on caress of steel there is one part of your comp that I was waiting for neal to start speaking. if you know the album you will know what part i'm talking about . The floyd part I suppose is the relaxing flow of it I associate it as with the backing guitar at the beginning of us and them. thats just my humble opinion. Nice job!

Maybe you could try using the piano in the background a bit more, try to suggest some contrasting harmonies etc. But great, i enjoyed it, it conveys a great sense of feeling

Great to hear from you Simon. I haven't had the time to sit down and enjoy your music yet. I promise I'll try to listen to it by this weekend.

That was very good Simon; a great piece to use as an introductory piece ie a pre cursor for a bigger work maybe?

Sadly the programme I used to create this song, has crashed and died the day before yesterday, so I won't be able to make any new stuff with the programme.
