Well today in the next hour or so the remaining votes will be counted and so far Conservatives have gained ground in the UK, while Labour and liberals have losses...but... such is our system, that Labour look set to remain in power with several options. Maybe David and Gordon will join forces :)

Has anyone else who followed the campaign really enjoyed it? the first ever leaders debates (our Yankie cousins have done them for years), the exciting and in accurate non stop opinion polls etc

Personally I don't remember an election being quite so talked about in Britain.

Next there is the World Cup to look forward to!

I loved it and even though my own party lost its majority I woke up very happy for the future and feel that politics will become much more interesting and passionate for the electorate for many years to come.

Us having a coilition with your gang Matt? I think not!!!!!!!!!

Great night lots of fun and snacks in front of the TV, I have one evening like this every five years and in my house its like what it is like in other houses during big sporting events 8)

this has left me a little cold now Matt!

The idea of the Lib Dems Joining forces with the Con's leaves me confussed and in no doubt that the Lib Dems are desperate for any scraps that fall from the table. I wouldn't have wanted them to join up with my Party Lab' but this willingness of a centre left party joing up with a party of the right leaves me wondering how much principle they can retain in the future.

I am pleased too because Cameron looks like one of my favourite Next Generation characters; Data!
