Help Recording Webcast

On Thursday April 8, Lick Library will be broadcasting a live webcast and I'd like to be able to record it.

Apparently VLC player is capable of doing this, but I failed the last time I tried! The instructions I've found are from a previous version, so when it says, "click this" or "click that", those options have different names and I don't know exactly how to get this to work....

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Alex... I appreciate your help. Unfortunately it did not record... great webcast though.
