Hi everyone
Yesterday I did a Guitar Recital at St Alfege's Church in Greenwich London. (famous Renaissance composer Thomas Tallis was organist there and buried there)
http://www.st-alfege.org/pages/intro.php
It is a lovely building and used by Trinity College of Music students in term time.
Suzie joined me for the last two pieces singing Dowland and also a lovely piece by Anthony Young. It was probably one of the best solo performances/duo performances I/we have done.
Anyway a guy in the audience who runs a show called 'Passport" on the World Music show on SW1Radio, has asked us to play a few pieces live next Wednesday.
I will try and mention UR and say hi

I hope you can show your support.
You can hear it live here
www.sw1radio.co.uk between 10 and 12!

Ritchie, I believe London is 8 hours ahead of L.A. and the show "Passport" shows a 10am time schedule, so I am just guessing at 1am here, although Matt posted 12GMT, which I think would be 3am here. But I believe you are 3 hours ahead of LA. Which means you could tune in anytime now. Between 10pm and 12am I would think. Good luck!

Hi Ritchie and Fish
The site was down yesterday but the guy said it should be fixed soon. The show starts at 10 but will be going on longer, perhaps till 1 or 2.
I think we are on about mid day, but not entirely sure!
We are playing pieces all by English composers, and one of them may even be a Led Zeppelin piece
Cheers
Matt

I am writing on my mobile and listening to the music of a group playing for a Chinese tea ceremony. It is awesome! Ritchie, they have had some issues so it will be broadcast... but not live. I will be given a cd hopefully today so as soon as I can I will upload I will. The show is on 87.7 fm too in the uk. Cheers Matt

Hello everyone

Suzie helped me finish uploading these this morning.
They are from a couple of weeks ago and were broadcasted as if they were live a week later.
SW1 is a station that does a lot to promote world music. It was an honour and also tremendous fun doing it! I hope some of you will enjoy the performances. I am quite happy with them, there are a few slips as they are just done in one take. The reverb is the natural reverb of the church hall, although in one of Suzie's tracks I added 6 percent on Logic. All the pieces are by British composers.

Matt, your playing is simply excellent. I'm glad you had an opportunity to have such a wide audience listen to your talent.
