I'm back, and I have something to say.

Hi guys!
I'm back, the funeral was a good service and a great send off, tears were shed, but it wasn't over the top, mainly focused on the good and funny things that my grandfather had done, fighting for what he believed in, helping the helpless, my grandfather really left a legacy, and thats just his good side, his business side, he was at the top of the mitchelin company for many years before retirement, he really served his life, I didn't realise how popular my grandfather was, because there wasnt just family there but friends and old work mates.
I got to meet my grandfather's brother (the father of the relative who works at pinewood) and since talking to him about my grandfather, getting to know what granddad was like when he was young etc, I just now feel I know my identity, I know how both grandfathers's live on in the blood in my veins and I know that it was worth going, just to know more about my granddad.
Although, I did feel the tears coming, I didn't shed them, I once felt guilty, but I don't, I'm sure my grief will come soon.
I must say I had a bit of a smile when my grandfather's brother patted me in the back and said "Us Fielders have to stick together we are a dying breed" As most of the family are women, but to be honest, we aren't dying out, the name may change but everyone in the family is a fielder by soul.
I look forward to the future, a lot more than originally did so, and whats more the new self sense of knowing who i am, i got to learn that some of things I do in my nature, stem from my grandfather too.
To close this message, I would like to thank everyone who helped and I hope everyone is indeed well.
Simon
