how the fuck did microsoft regress from windows xp to a shitbag os like Vista...we got a replacement laptop from dell which came with vista...wont download pdf's via firefox and doesnt recognize hardware that xp had no problem with(vista says i have to find the original drivers whereas XP would just say found new hardware and do its thing and no problem-vista couldnt recognize my digital camera!!!)...total bullshit.This is so basically bad that is unreal that anybody with half a brain would let such a bad product roll out the door.

Even when i open programs that are on my menu or desktop a dialog box opens up telling me this program is unkonwn and that if i proceed harm can be done to the pc!!!These are programs that i have been using on it for the last week.
Everything so far ive used with vista is weaker than XP.The slide show thing for pictures is weak.Also the folder management is more lame-small print and harder to paste files into folders.Just a lot of dumb shit.This must have been a rush job to the stores because these defects are amateur hour.Bill gates is a masterful bs'er if he can look at somebody with a straight face and say vista is an improved product over xp.
Im not into programming but i honestly wouldnt mind just using one of those free OS that people are using-unix,redhat whatever the f its called...

LOL! Oth, I don't believe redhat is free, but it has a free version called Fedora. Google Ubuntu, that is a nice user friendly free OS.

I remeber when XP first came out, it used to crash a fair bit for no reason, but it turned out good in the end. Im using now in fact

i've always been sceptical about vista, i could have upgraded my laptop for free but i declined the offer, after adolf's rant im glad i didn't
maybe it will be better in time when they improve it with upgrades

doesn't matter realy i'll almost deffineatly be getting a mac the next time i upgrade, final cut pro is tempting me over...
