I finally got round to photographing this!! Believe it or not she is fully grown

and belonged to an ancestor of mine back in the 1880’s. The dog is a terrier and lived a full and long life but never grew beyond this size it isn’t the smallest dog ever but is pretty damn close.
My Grandfather (way back) who owned her became famous and was put on trial because of her!

He went on a long train journey and didn’t buy her a ticket, during the trip he took her out of his pocket because she was barking and put her on the floor, she ran off and got lost under the seats within the mechanisms. He had no choice but to call in the guards and ask them to help him free her.
The result of his fee dodging was being arrested and taken before the local Magistrate who gave him a large fine and the shame of being named as a criminal in the national press. Nobody knows what her name was (I am sorry to say)

but she was so loved that when she passed away she was persevered and passed down through the family. I now own her and although the whole spectacle of her in this box looking dusty and tired is grotesque to me I still keep her peacefully in a warm dark cupboard dreaming her dreams of running free under the seats of an old steam train in Dickensian Victorian Britain.
I thought you might be as amazed at her tininess’ as much as I was as a small boy when I first met her at my Grandmothers house.
To give you an idea of her size from the bottom of her front paw to the top of her head she is 3 ½ inches tall
From the tip of her nose to the rear of her rump she is 4 ¾ inches long
From her widest point front shoulder to front shoulder she is 1 ½ inches wide.

Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.
