I love the feeling of being snowed in. In other words if you could get to work/college etc you would but alas things beyond your control prevent you. :) :)

temperature is on the negative side right now.
had 2 change 2 tires on the car before I went working
'cause they were flat when I got off yesterday. had the
car fixed overall though so I'm pretty satisfied with my day so far :)

on a side note, on wednesday, I've had my drivers license for a year.
sure, it cost me some money (roughly $1554) and then the car ($2152),
but the car is paid off by now :)

What the hell!!!!!

Is the bloody thing made of gold, I’m sure that when I got my license it was less than $100.

What is hysterical about England is 'a little' bit of snow, causes pandamonium here. Trains run late, people get all dramatic. Now if there is a lot of snow (over a foot high; a lot for us)anyway...

we all go mad!! :) There are no buses in London today, motorways closed, every school in 20 mile radius closed etc. The news graphics are all snow infested!

Anyway I am just loving being a recluse today!

Anyone read or seen Stephen Kings story 'Storm Of The Century'?

The film which I saw (I haven't read the novella) is about a small town forced to congregate together while a mysterious snow storm sweeps the area. Meanwhile a stranger witha secret is taken in custody for a misdemeanor and as the story unfolds, he is indeed a part of the atmopshere and there to take one of the town folk away with him!

It scared the hell out of me!!
