Politics and Shoe Throwing

So I read
this article about the reporter who threw the shoe at Bush. Apparently he's been beaten for his actions?
If Bush were a real man (and a real TEXAN) he should have not flinched and allowed the shoe to hit him. Show the world you are not prone to flinching in the face of an attack. I realize flinching is an automatic reaction, but you can train yourself not to flinch.
Just my opinion... I think the Iraqi people might see him in a different light if he hadn't ducked. Of course that wouldn't change their opinions or bring their loved ones back...
