he was odviously not stable in the mind, but this happens tht girl who killed herself b/c of tht girls mom...its sad, tragic, but you have to admit, they most likely arnt stable in the mind, not saying the internet helped...im guessing people like that, i can think of a few from my school, have no friends and look to live video games and internet forums to find ppl to talk to, most of them are ass holes though, no clue of how to make a friend so they go off insulting everyone hoping som1 like them will laugh and find it funny, unfortuanatly most ppl find it offensive and b4 he knows it...he needs a new pair of glasses and a nose job. now that the internet is so wide spred u cant just shut it down. that would kill economy nd everything, and shutting down forums like these, well, people would be outrated, i guess if someone is claiming suicide or being cyber bullied and someone thinks they might commit suicide, they should speak up, nothing else you can do.

Whenever I get depressed and think about suicide, I just think of some friends I have lost over the years...none of them wanted to die. They all wanted to live, but things happen. I sort of live in honor of them.
And Elliot, energy is not created or destroyed. I think people (or their energy) exists infinitely.

This happened a year or two ago in Britain as well, its very sad that people can't set the real world appart from the net. I mentioned a story a while ago about a German who flew to Britain to murder an Admin from a site because he had a falling out with him.

That was about 30 miles from where I live.

Its happened several times before. In a similar incident, I remember hearing about a guy who hanged himself on webcam to a live audience in one of these webcam-to-audience + chat facilities.

I was more concerned with 12 hours worth of viewing before anyone contacted authorities. The kid was obviously not right in the head, but some of the viewers online egged him on!

We, as a society, need to change the way we are bringing up the youth of the world if they think that watching a kid kill himself is entertaining.

I suppose there always has been a horrible defect in the human condition that enjoys watching suffering.

In times gone by people enjoyed watching hangings and now thanks to the technology people now suffering via things like you this.

The danger of the internet is the same thing that also threatens the music and film industry...namely committing a crime facelessly!!!

Voyeuristically people can be faceless and live in a sense of fantasy on the net in particular. Crimes can be committed without conscience being pulled at because a sense of the personal has been taken away.

It is ofcourse cowardly and in a lesser and more trivial extent can be seen on ths site. How easy is it to be obnoxious when you are assuming the alter ego of a troll...

Recently a man jumped to his death in London after a crowd of spectators included people that goaded the poor man on!!

Matt
wow realy thats so sick.

By the way matt I looked for the Derren Brown, spelling again?, “the heist" on YouTube but it was about people inflicting pain on others not the contact with the other side. MMM kind of seems appropriate here now doesn’t it.
