I need to slow down, lol but yeah.

Yesterday I was talking to a reporter I was working with on Sunday on our break after doing an assignment, we sat down talked about things, then we got on to the topic of myself and autism, she was very impressed with my attitude towards autism, how I deal with it, how I am postive about my "condition" how it may have singled me out when I was at school till i eventually left, but i never stopped, never let people get me down i broke barriers, done things creatively (paintings, poetry) etc, just all kinds of what i said.

Well today, she sat me down and meantioned about our talk and said the newspaper I work for would like to have an article on about me and everything i said and how i always saw the positive side of autism, how even though i was bullied at school before i left i continued on and always faced forward.

They have interviewed me, my mum and my dad today, so I'll wait to see if it gets published.

So lets see.. lol

I have had a small portrait picture of a lawyer taken by me put in on my first day, then later on in the week seven pictures over a 2 page spread, then front cover pictures, and now an article about me in the newspaper!

I never stop lol

I just hope it does get printed, newspapers vary, what could be top news in the morning could be dropped for something even more important by afternoon.

The newspaper comes out this Friday though.

It is great what you are doing and I think it will be great for normal people to get an understanding of the autistic spectrum.
It is infuriating (thanks to the melodramtic writing of the Daily Mail and Rainman) how people seem not to understand autism.

Thank you Matt for those kind words I always view autism as a positive thing and why not share it? people do mistake autism to be JUST the rocking back and forth, shut off person. I however see autism (mostly on the aspergers syndrome and high functioning side) as a step in the direction of humanity's next evolution, I mean seriously, they have unique gifts that they all excell at, some are fantastic musicians, scientists, mathmaticians etc, The reporter said that it was good i see it so positively and is impressed with my evolution theory. I do hope one day though, that autism is offically recognised as a spectrum everywhere and seen as not a bad thing, as it can be just as good! i mean everything has a downside, but we as people need to see the good sides! In my opinion
