Why Is Britney Messed Up?

THIS has a lot to do with it, I'm sure.
She's 26 years old and makes
$737,000 a month!!! She has, as my mom would say, more money than sense. With that much money, no wonder she thinks she can do whatever she wants and buy her way out of trouble.

I'm beginning to think that Brit does have a severe mental problem. I'm sure that contributes too.

I like Britney and her last album was very good indeed, considering she had lost it! she did a great job, and it is by far her best album yet.
I think her problem is that she is having severe problems in the public eye and is not getting the time she needs to heal in private. Had she been a man living/working in the public eye she would have been left alone a little more.

I don't know about mental issues. Ozzy has a few mental issues as well, but he also has people around him who care about him and help him out.
Britney has a mom who couldn't make it as a star on her own so she lives through her kids. Britney has also surrounded herself with money-hungry leeches who'll do anything for her as long as she throws money at them.
Did she have a breakdown recently? Sure, but she's losing her kids AND medicating herself. I lost it last year when the judge denied me the right to have my son live with me, that's a parental thing, not a mental thing.
She's had no one to say no to her for so long that she is freaking out that she cannot buy off the judge (or flirt her way out). I'm sure the relationship with Kfed ended because he said no once too often.

Well it's not like Ozzy didn't have hard times either cause of his mental issues...the image of Ozzy hanging off his Psyche Ward bed crying has been burned on my brain thanks to Off The Rails.
I think what makes Brit's cases different than Ozzy's was the things you just mentioned, but her mother most of all. Any mother who lets their daughter become a sex symbol at the age of 16 is digusting.

The recent rumors that Jamie Lynn may have a miscarriage or give the child up for adoption makes me wonder if she really was pregnant at all. I wouldn't put it past mom to say, "You need a publicity stunt to get your name out there."
Really, who knew Brit had a sister prior to the pregnancy? I only knew because I have kids who watch Nick Jr and they bumped Backyardigans a couple times for Zoey 101.
I don't doubt that Britney has depression issues, nor would I make lite of that fact. However I think she may have assumed she could buy her way out, and has done so for so long, that her inability to use her wallet to rectify things now is only adding to her mental stress. I'm certain she's never learned an real coping skills.

In her defense, we only see what the media shows us... none of us REALLY know what's going on behind closed doors or inthe head of someone else. I'm not going to judge her because, as a woman, i know i've lost my flippin' mind a time or two, the only difference is when *I* have a meltdown there aren't 50 million camera flashes going off, ya know?
plus... you can take the girl out of Louisiana, but you can't take Louisiana out of the girl *wink*

Sorry GI, But I think her music has had it's value and the new album was different and very good. I love lots of diverse music and David Bowie Nelly Furtado, Britney, Willie Nelson, Ozzy, Sabbath all have a place.
I think that if Britney is left alone and taken out of her life as it is, she can get through this. She is in a melting pot and was never given the chance to mature in her own time. The media have treated her like a Whore and she does have a talent that is better than this cheap tacky bullshit she is helping to perpetuate either willingly or chased (as she so often is). I believe that she should leave the continent for a while so this whole thing blows over. Also and don't take this as a gesture of love for Sharon Osbourne but I think Sharon O's managment would benefit Brit right now, whats more Sharon can afford whatever Brits managers would want in the form of $$$$.

I think Brit would benefit from having Zakk and the boys back her up musically. Can't you just see her on stage in black with BLS as the backing band? She could launch a whole new side to her career!

Of course she would, she'd just pay him extra to stand downwind
