Lindsay Lohan
A lot of people are going to be talking trash about Lindsay Lohan now that she's been arrested again. Personally, I feel bad for her.
I have a daughter who is just reaching the age where she wants to pull away from mom and dad and be her own person. My hope is that her mom has instilled good values in her and she doesn't fall into the trap of partying to be part of the "in" crowd.
Lindsay Lohan started out wanting to be "in" and now she is physically addicted and cannot get "out". It makes me sad to see a young person throw everything away for drugs and alcohol.
I think it's time for the media to stop glamorizing these stars who continually screw up. It's time to show the youth of this world that screwing up is screwing up, regardless of how much money you have.
Whether it's pop stars forgetting to wear underpants, heiresses drinking and driving or rock stars bragging about not taking showers. Bad behavior is not cool. It's time for someone to step forward and be promoted by the media for their good behavior. And it's up to the public to stop buying the magazines and watching the television shows that publicize all the bad behavior. As long as we watch it and read it, the papparazzi will continue looking for ways to exploit it.
I hope Lindsay Lohan will get the help she needs and clean up the mess she has made of her life. And I hope the youth of this world will find a role model who has good manners and behaves in a decent and respectful manner.

I liked her in the last 'Herbie' film, that is as much as I know about her!

Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.
I am roughly Lindsay's age, and I'm a girl...and I have to say, if I had that much CRAP and media glare thrusted upon me, I don't know how well I'd fair either. Granted, I've made my share of retarded mistakes already, but I thinking being in Lindsay's position would only act as a catalyst for even more bad decision making. Has anyone read or heard about her mother? She sounds like a real piece of work. Scary stage mom, type.
I'm just glad I have normal parents. I adore my father and deep down, my mother as well even though we fight all the time.
I hope LL can pull her head out of her ass some day and realize that she's a pretty girl and that she doesn't need to put herself through so much BS for attention.

Maybe it's time that a "star" faces the music and gets a real punishment for a real crime. Lindsay Lohan is facing a maximum of about 5 years in jail if tried and convicted on all charges.
I've got nothing against her, but I feel that she should live up to the age old saying, "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime."
There are so many people who admire these stars and follow their every move. It's time that the justice system in this country puts its foot down and declares the law equal across the board. 5 years in jail might teach the girl to make better decisions and the threat of jail time might force some of the others to think twice.
Robert Downey Jr. had to go to jail - repeatedly - for his actions. Lindsay should, too.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but, Paul I agree 100%.RockyRhoads wrote:Maybe it's time that a "star" faces the music and gets a real punishment for a real crime. Lindsay Lohan is facing a maximum of about 5 years in jail if tried and convicted on all charges.

I agree with what you have said here and I also feel your sentiments towards Britney, she is going off the rails and this doesn't take any value away from her art. One day Britney will get through this and if her fans are true and loyal they will be rewarded with more music/art.Skully wrote:I am roughly Lindsay's age, and I'm a girl...and I have to say, if I had that much CRAP and media glare thrusted upon me, I don't know how well I'd fair either. Imagine that if everytime Ozzy had gone too far his fans had abandoned him, we wouldnt have had any albums after 'Sabbath' and even if he had got his solo deal nothing would have followed the 'Speak of the Devil' album.

You hit the nail on the head there. The role of the father is absolutely critical and kudos to your dad for doing a good job.Skully wrote:I adore my father ...
Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders.
Anyone see Parent Trap with LL? She was such a cute little girl and she did an amazing job in that movie. I hope she can get it together. Talented people who waste it away kill me sometimes.
