They do seem to be a bit of a ...er...pain in the ass

I think their is an option where a valid email address is required to register with the site, or the user has to be approved or something to that affect. These are just bots more than likely, not actual persons posting.

the email validation is on, but it uses valid email address from cheezy russian websites. all phpbb boards have problems. just depends how quick a mod gets to it

On a more serious note:lol:, how about adding the thingy where you have to enter letters shown in a photograph, to be able to get registered? Or isn't that possible with this kind of forum?
